Electra

The Sanborn fire insurance map dated 1919 (Sheet 8) depicts a one-story brick jail in the town of Electra, Texas. It was in city block 73 (lot 14) between City Hall at 221 Cleveland Avenue and the town water tower. A spokesperson for City Hall said that this jail is gone and no other smaller ones replaced it.
