Darryl Pearson found this new calaboose and shared his photos and notes with me.  According to the locals he interviewed, this jail has been in place since the 1930s or 1940s.  The door is original but the windows with bars on the sides have been covered up or removed.  About 20 years ago, the two strap iron cells inside were removed and sold for scrap.  It is behind the police station where it is being used for storage.

Its dimensions are 17 feet, 10 inches across the front, 10 feet, 8 inches on the sides (198 square feet), and 6 feet, 6 inches high.  The door is 3 feet wide and 6 feet, 6 inches tall.  The current roof is not original.  Before the structure was repurposed, the roof was flat.
