This building is located in downtown Lefors, Texas. I have not been able to determine if it was actually a calaboose. It it was, it would conform to Floor Plan 1a (see Floor Plans). A local historian is trying to discover the history of this building for me.

The Sanborn map dated 1933 (Sheet 2) shows a concrete jail in the SE quadrant of city block 16 (lots 9 & 10) and adjacent to the fire station. The rest of the quadrant was occupied by a well, pump house, and reservoir belonging to the city water works. There is no address for the jail or fire station but they are in the 100 block of East North 2nd Street (not paved) between 101 and 119. This image was found on Google Earth and dates to 2008. It has not been confirmed if it still stands.
