Teague

Teague 2 copy

Darryl Pearson provided this photo of a very interesting metal cage with two cells located behind the Railroad museum in Teague.  He was told that it was housed in the original courthouse before being moved to this location.  This cage is made of plates of solid steel.  The square holes in the doors were created by a specialized machine.  Cages of similar construction are in Asherton, Athens, Dessau, La Plata, Leakey, and Lockhart.
