According to an unidentified article, Guthrie was the only community in a wide area where alcohol was legal.

“Friday night is the ‘big time’ for local cowboys, and consequently the calaboose is called the ‘Friday night jail.’

I saw a reference to a calaboose at the Guthrie 6666 Ranch but I have no more information at this time.
